Signed Quivers, Symmetric Quivers, and Root Systems.

چکیده
We define a special sort of weighted oriented graphs, signed quivers. Each of these yields a symmetric quiver, i.e., a quiver endowed with an involutive anti-automorphism and the inherited signs. We develop a representation theory of symmetric quivers, in particular we describe the indecom-posable symmetric representations. Their dimensions constitute root systems corresponding to certain symmetrizable generalized Cartan matrices.

Representations of quivers, their generalizations and invariants
This paper is a survey on invariants of representations of quivers and their generalizations such as (super)mixed representations by Zubkov, orthogonal and symplectic representations by Derksen and Weyman, and representations of signed quivers by Shmelkin. Working over a field of arbitrary characteristic we present the description of generating systems for invariants and relations between gener...
متن کاملA Universal Investigation of $n$-representations of $n$-quivers
noindent We have two goals in this paper. First, we investigate and construct cofree coalgebras over $n$-representations of quivers, limits and colimits of $n$-representations of quivers, and limits and colimits of coalgebras in the monoidal categories of $n$-representations of quivers. Second, for any given quivers $mathit{Q}_1$,$mathit{Q}_2$,..., $mathit{Q}_n$, we construct a new quiver $math...
متن کاملQuivers of Type A, Flag Varieties and Representation Theory
Introduction. In this survey, we describe and relate various occurences of quivers of type A (both finite and affine) and their canonical bases in combinatorics, in algebraic geometry and in representation theory. The ubiquity of these quivers makes them especially important to study : they are pervasive in very classical topics (such as the theory of symmetric functions) as well as in some of ...
متن کاملNilpotent Orbits of Linear and Cyclic Quivers and Kazhdan-lusztig Polynomials of Type A
The intersection cohomologies of closures of nilpotent orbits of linear (respectively, cyclic) quivers are known to be described by KazhdanLusztig polynomials for the symmetric group (respectively, the affine symmetric group). We explain how to simplify this description using a combinatorial cancellation procedure, and we derive some consequences for representation theory.
متن کاملRational Smoothness of Varieties of Representations for Quivers of Type A
In this paper, the authors study when the closure (in the Zariski topology) of orbits of representations of quivers of type A are rationally smooth. This is done by considering the corresponding quantized enveloping algebra U and studying the action of the bar involution on PBW bases. Using Ringel’s Hall algebra approach to quantized enveloping algebras and also AuslanderReiten quivers, we can ...
